Never read a book like this before but wanted to see what it was like watching Gazza from an outside view. I found the book easy to read and couldn't believe the things he got up to but I was at first laughing and then crying. Great stories and well documented - couldn't put it down - fantastic !!!!

Found this book a very good read, quite moving and often disturbing. To see someone of Gazza's status reduced to managing a non-league team and getting sacked after 39 days shows how far he has declined.
Some of the recollections are painful yet at the same time there is plenty of humour. Reading this, it's hard to see how it even lastest 39 days because so much went bad so quickly. The story is told at a good pace that does encourage you to read on.

I expected a long rant against Gazza but this is a balanced, well written and, unfortunately, often disturbing account of Gazza the football manager. Tells the story well, builds up to inevitable sad conclusion with lots of moving contributions from those at the club. Some of the players' stories are both sad and funny. I read it in one go, didn't want to put it down.
