This is my favourite book of all time, when it comes to recommending DANNY I can't possibly word how amazing it is. The book is the first instalment of many to come in the series and is such an enjoyable read that it should be compulsory.
The book surrounds a farming family, where sex, murder, incest and violence are frequent occurrences. Ian the middle brother, the runt of a family surrounded by lust, fear and lies, the one everyone ignores but quite possibly the very person they shouldn't take their eyes off, perceptions can be deceiving. John, the eldest, whose inexhaustible levels of love and hate lead him and everyone around him to despair and ecstasy in equal measure, the centre of a destructive dysfunctional world that's so addictive it should carry a written warning. Then we have Danny the supernaturally beautiful, irresistible, youngest brother of the three, the boy that everyone wants and he's not one to refuse an offer, but which is the one he couldn't refuse if he tried.
DANNY is daring, sexy, emotional, taboo bursting, addictive, irreplaceable, genuinely original, obsessively readable, passionate, it has no equal and I cannot recommend it enough.
Read it now and experience the inescapable world of DANNY.
(Then read DANNY Volume 2 The Revenant, the only book that can possibly approach it)

Read this book, if you want to read something thatâs completely different. Read this book if you want to read something challenging. Read this book if you want a real experience. DANNY is a book that you feel as well as read. This totally absorbing family drama seems to play out in real time. As you read it, you are there, watching the drama unfold. Itâs new, more than a breath of fresh air, itâs like a wind, howling through the annals of literature and blowing the cobwebs away, enthralling, a relentless telling of a hugely powerful story. Chancery Stone should be applauded for jumping into a world of whispered taboos and shouting them out on paper. The content is strictly adult, if easily offended then do not read it, but I imagine the âSEXUALLY EXPLICITâ sticker would attract more readers than turn them away!Take what you will from DANNY, A good dirty read, a tale of obsession and lust, or, the tragic story of a family thatâs self destructing and unable to stop.Read it, and make your own mind up.

Going into Danny is like a dark plunge into deep water. Very deep water indeed. With incest, homosexuality and child abuse up front and in your face it's hardly surprising that you feel somewhat unsettled by it. But instead of floundering around or longing to get out of the waves that threaten to engulf you, you find yourself willingly going deeper and deeper. It's a no-stone-left-unturned read, and somehow all the more rewarding for that. I loved the hero, Danny, and, although my friends didn't like him, I even liked the villain, Danny's brother John. It's a gripping tale, relentless and sometimes shocking but it really lives up to that old chestnut - unputdownable. I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone - even your maiden aunt!
