'How to Survive Your Sisters' Description

When it comes to sisterly rivalry, the MacLeod family has a long history and with the social event of the year looming, there are bound to be some fireworks. Natalie wants the perfect wedding. Milly longs to be able to fit into something other than her maternity trousers. Avril secretly dreams of settling down with an unmarried man. And Hazel, the baby of the family, just wishes she was taken more seriously. Forced together for the first time in years, it's not long before they slip into old habits and childhood squabbles. But when tragedy strikes and all plans have to be put aside, it's surprising who's there to lean on. But all the more surprising are the skeletons that are about to come out of the rather crowded MacLeod closet...

Customer Reviews for 'How to Survive Your Sisters'

bonnie iris

An amusing, easy and fun read. Brought back my own family relationships, memories of laughs along with frustrations. Highly recommended.

Lindsey

Great read. Loved the quirkyness of the four main characters, especially the bridezilla.

Cheri Nieto

Just loved all of the sisters. The book was fun, light and easy to read and so very believable. I didn't want the book to end. Will we see a sequel?

Ellie Campbell is a pseudonym for sister writing-duo Pam Burks and Lorraine Campbell. The two sisters were raised in Scotland until as teens their parents moved the family down to Sussex. Between them they have had over 140 short stories published in magazines. Pam now lives in Surrey with her husband and three children where she divides her time between writing, family, her allotment, a part-time job and chasing down her writing partner and big sister, Lorraine. After sailing the Carribean as a Charter Cook, Lorraine finally settled in Colorado with a husband, three horses and a dog.
