'KS2 Maths Dictionary' Description
All of the entries have a clear, concise description or explanation of vocabulary, with an example when necessary to put it into context - not just a definition which often simply confuses. Vocabulary has been appropriately selected, based on the Numeracy Framework and the accompanying Vocabulary booklet. It is aimed at upper KS2 but will cover all 4 years. The entries are coded into five maths areas, each with a distinct icon. There are information panels when a relevant fact can add interest to the word and cross-referencing to other appropriate words. An ICT element will provide instruction in a cross curricula format.
