I bought this book last week as I always liked Phil vickerys cooking on tv. I was dissapointed as I would have liked to have had more cakes and desserts as this is what we Coelics miss the most from our diet. I find with main courses I do not normally have a problem as it is easy to replace some of the non gluten free ingredients. I also found that alot of the ingredients are difficult to find in the average supermarket and are not very cheap, especially if you only use them a few times. Overall I think it is a good book for people who are really into cooking and can afford to have various ingredients in their kitchen cupboard- sometinmes chefs forget taht we do not have their sort of kitchens. Many thanks to Phil for researching the gluten-free diet so well.
