Where's my order?

Find out when you can expect your delivery to arrive and how to track your order.

When will my delivery arrive?

We send items as soon as they are available (look for stock availability on each product page and in your basket).

If you live in the Highlands or Islands, please allow an extra couple of days.

Check this table for delivery times - for in stock items: (add stock availability time if your item is not in stock - we'll email you to say when we have sent it)

Books If you order before 9pm on Tuesday, your book(s) should be ready to collect on Friday.

Stationery, gifts, electronics or magazines Find out when your order should be ready to collect in store. (PDF file)
Saver delivery to home 3-5 working days from when we email to say we've sent your item(s).
First class delivery to home 1-2 working days from when we email to say we've sent your item(s).
Courier first class delivery to home 1-2 working days from when we email to say we've sent your item(s).

(Working days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.)

Tracking your order

As soon as each item in your order is sent, we'll email you. You can track the progress of your order in My Account.

Log in to My Account.

When you log in, you will see an order status which lets you know what stage your order is at, as well as a status for each item within your order:

Status of your total order

  • Confirmed - Your order is being processed. Some items within the order may already have been sent
  • Complete - All the items in your order have been sent or cancelled
  • Part Complete - Some of the items ordered have been sent or cancelled and the others are in progress

Status of each item

Each item in your order will move through the following statuses on its way to you:

  • In progress - We have received your order and it's being processed
  • Ready to send - Your products are ready to be sent to you and will be sent shortly
  • Sent - Your order is in the post and on its way to you

Other order statuses you may see are:

  • Waiting for stock - We do not currently have stock and have placed an order with our supplier
  • Not yet published - The book game has not been released yet
  • Not in stock: reprinting - The book is being reprinted and on order with our supplier
  • Cancelled - You or we have cancelled your order, or an item within your order. You will have received an email to confirm this and the reason for the cancellation
  • Cancellation requested - You have requested that we cancel a line or an order and this request is being processed. You will receive an email to confirm if this cancellation has been possible
  • Contact customer services - We have found an issue with your order. Please contact us if you have not already heard from us

Do I have to wait for all my items to be available?

No - we'll post every item to you as soon as it becomes available. You'll only pay the amount you saw when you placed your order.

My order hasn't arrived. What should I do?

We try to keep information on stock availability up to date, but it's possible that sometimes an item might become unavailable between updates. If this happens, we'll try to get more stock and keep you informed.
