For a refund, just post the item back or bring it into any of our high street stores within 30 days.
Items bought in store
Anything bought in a WHSmith store should be returned there. This information only refers to items bought online from the WHSmith website.
Items bought online
Within 30 days you can either:
- Return the item to any WHSmith store along with the delivery note that came with it. Refunds are made onto your card, not in cash. If you paid for your order with a Giftcard we will send you a new eVoucher.
- Post the item back to us:
- 1. The items must be in the original condition and packaging with any security seals intact
- 2. Repackage the products securely and send to the address on your delivery paperwork
- 3. Include the reason for the return, the invoice number and your email address or telephone number. Tell us if you would like a refund or a replacement
- 4. If we don't receive the item we can't refund you or replace it, so we recommend you use an insured mail service
Return it to us within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Keep any warranty information. Depending on what the product is, it might be quicker to get a replacement straight from the manufacturer. Give us a call and we'll let you know and tell you how to go about it.
If it was our mistake, send the item back and we'll refund your postage costs to the card you paid with.
We can't deal with refunds for anything you bought from a partner site, such as Funky Pigeon or WHSmith Magazines.
Each partner site has its own refund policy, so check the site or contact their customer service team.

To arrange return of these items please contact the supplier on the contact number below. Please check your delivery paperwork to ensure the correct supplier is contacted. Goods returned must be in the original condition and packaging with any security seals intact. We can't accept returns for these items at WHSmith stores. Please remember to quote your order number when contacting the supplier for collection.

A replacement will not be automatically re-ordered, you will need to place a new order for the item.
