Changing your Order

Some changes can be made to your order up to the point where we are about to dispatch your order and charge your card for the goods. Once your order has passed this stage we unfortunately are unable to make any changes.

Changes can either be made via ‘My Account’ or by contacting our Customer Services Team. You have the option to cancel an order or items within an order and change the payment card allocated to your order. Please note that we are unable to add products to an order, change a delivery address or merge several orders together.

Cancelling your Order

You can cancel your order or items within an order up to the point where your card is about to be charged, this is the point where your goods are being prepared for shipping and we are not able to stop them from being dispatched. If some of the goods have been dispatched you may cancel those that are yet to be prepared for dispatch.

It is advisable that you cancel any unwanted orders or products via the ‘My Orders’ section of ‘My Account’, or by contacting our Customer Service team on 0870 4446444. Cancellation requests sent via email to customer.services@whsmith.co.uk may take up to 48 hours during busy periods which could result in your order being dispatched.

To cancel an order via the website, visit ‘My Account’ with the link at the top of the page. Within “My Orders” select the order you wish to amend. You can then cancel all outstanding products in the order or click through the details of the order to cancel specific products.

Please note that you cannot cancel an order that includes a multi-buy promotion such as a 3 for 2 or £5 off when you spend £25.

Once your order has successfully been cancelled you will be sent an email to confirm this.

You should email our Customer Service team if you have inadvertently cancelled an order using the ‘Cancel’ button - they will be happy to restore the order for you.

Our policy is to cancel orders if we have been unable to supply products within 60 days with the exception of products that have not yet been released or that are due to be reprinted.
