Discounts
Many of the products that we present for sale on our website are discounted in order to offer the best possible prices to our customers.
All discounts available are automatically applied to the product and are made against the RRP for books and magazines and standard industry price for DVDs and electronic games.
Discounts shown against music, stationery and gifts are against their previous selling price.
Promotions and discounts are subject to change without notice. The price that you accept when you confirm your order is the price that you will be charged when it is ready for dispatch. The price you pay is the price you agree when you confirm your order.
In-Store & Online Pricing
Although WHSmith.co.uk is a part of WHSmith Retail it offers its own prices, promotions and products. Prices quoted online are valid only when you purchase through the website and will not be replicated in store.
Should you wish to order items you have seen online in your local branch of WHSmith you will be charged the store price which may differ from that offered online.
WHSmith.co.uk does not participate in all WHSmith High Street promotions advertised in the press. On occasions we will replicate a promotion but this does not guarantee that the individual product prices will be the same as those offered in-store.
Multi-buy Offers
A multi-buy offer is a promotion that allows you to make extra savings if you purchase more than one product within the offer. For example, we may from time to time offer a selection of books at a special "buy one, get one free" price. For "3 for 2" offers, the lowest-priced item is free.
In all multi-buys, if you choose to purchase a product from the offer, but do not purchase enough products to qualify for the special discount, the product will be charged at its normal price.
Please note all multi-buy promotions are subject to availability.
All our multi-buy offers are calculated automatically in your shopping basket. All you need to do is browse the products within any current multi-buy offer, and then add the required number to your shopping basket. Qualifying products will then be marked in your basket. The relevant amount of extra discount will be applied automatically to your total basket price.
Price Changes
Although we make every effort to ensure the prices on the website are correct, mistakes may sometimes be made.
If we discover a mistake in the price of the products you have ordered, we will tell you and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order.
If we are unable to contact you or we receive no reply from you, we will cancel your order and any monies paid will be refunded.
