Refund Policy
WHSmith High Street and Travel Stores Refunds
WHSmith wants you to buy with confidence.
We hope you are delighted with everything you buy from us. However, if for any reason you are not, simply return it to us, in person to any WHSmith Highstreet store, in its original condition with your receipt, within 30 days of purchase, and we will gladly find you a replacement or refund your money.
This is in addition to your statutory rights.
WHSmith.co.uk Refunds
Products may be returned for a refund or exchange:
- In person to any WHSmith Store. At the time of return you must show your invoice as proof that you purchased the products from us. Please note that any item purchased from WHSmith Jersey cannot be refunded via High Street stores and must be returned by post.
- By post in accordance with the following procedure:-
- Repackage the products securely and send the products together with the reason for return, the invoice number, your email address or telephone number and instructions as to whether you would like a refund or a replacement.
- You will find the Returns address on the paperwork that arrives with your order.
All unwanted goods must be in resalable condition, in their original packaging and with any security seals still intact. All returns are made at your risk and cost and must be made within 30 days of receipt of the product.
If you are returning an incorrect or damaged item from WHSmith.co.uk we will refund the original invoice charge for the item and your return postage costs to your payment card.
We recommend that for all returns you use an insured registered mail service as returns not received by us cannot be credited to you.
Please note that if you request an alternative product you will need to place a new order for this item. Due to technical restrictions we are unable to dispatch a product without charging for it so if you request replacement goods you will be refunded for the original item and charged again when the replacement is ready for dispatch.
WHSmith Jersey Refunds
Returned products purchased through WHSmith Jersey can only be accepted when returned by post in accordance with the following procedure:-
Repackage the products securely and send the products together with the reason for return, the invoice number, your email address or telephone number and instructions as to whether you would like a refund or a replacement.
You will find the returns address on the paperwork that arrived with your order.
All unwanted goods must be in resalable condition, in their original packaging and with all security seals still intact.
Returns by post are made at your risk. We recommend that you use an insured registered mail service as returns not received by us cannot be credited to you.
For all damaged and faulty returns your return delivery charges will be refunded by us if the return is made in accordance with the conditions mentioned above.
Refunds will be credited to your payment card. Refunds will not be paid in cash. Please note that products purchased through WHSmith Jersey cannot be returned to WHSmith High Street stores.

WHSmith.co.uk has approximately 30 partner companies that customers can purchase products from. WHSmithEntertainment.co.uk is a partner site.
Please see the refund and returns policy for the company that you have purchased from.
These items can only be returned directly to the company with which your order was placed. You will find returns details on the paperwork that arrives with your order.
WHSmith.co.uk and WHSmith stores will not accept such products.
