New Release Fiction Books
Born in the 1960s in Hampshire, David went on to study English Literature at Bristol University. After graduating, he decided to pursue a career as an actor and, once he returned from his studies in New York, completed a three-year stint at the Royal National Theatre. This landed him a job as a script reader at BBC Radio Drama. It was script reading that led David to write himself. His first stage play, Simpatico, was turned into a feature film in 1999, starring Sharon Stone. David began writing full-time, including for four episodes of Cold Feet. He has been nominated for two BAFTAs and Starter for 10, his first novel, was featured on the first ever Richard and Judy Book Club. He is also the author of One Day, a best-seller that was also made into a feature film in 2010. His latest novel is called Us.
