He has also contributed to Audu-bon, Sports Illustrated, the New York Times, Smithsonian, and numerous book projects including four other Photo Ark books. Joel lives with his wife, Kathy, and their three children, Cole, Ellen, and Spencer, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
