Hilltop Hoods Present: Noctis

Hilltop Hoods are an Australian hip hop group that formed in 1991 in Blackwood, Adelaide, South Australia. They are regarded as pioneers of the "larrikin-like" style of Australian hip hop. The group was founded by Suffa and Pressure, who were joined by DJ Debris after fellow founder, DJ Next, left in 1999. Andrew Archer is an Australian writer, musician and the creator of the English language manga The Tokyo 5. Before releasing his first book in 2016, Andrew spent more than a decade as a music author, copy writer and rapper, releasing a number of albums and singles under the names Syntax and alongside the Triple J Unearthed award winning group Deathstarrs. Inspired by classic anime and manga like Akira, Project A-Ko and Neon Genesis Evangelion, Andrew's work is a mash of robots, dark humor and neon lighting. He currently lives in Queensland, Australia surrounded by empty pizza boxes, broken controllers and a mountain of Wu-Tang CDs.
