Laura befriends a little lamb, Lollylegs, and hopes to keep him for ever.
Laura's dad brings a lamb home to give away at the school fete. In the meantime, Laura takes care of the lamb and calls him Lollylegs. But by the end of the week, she can't bear the thought of having to give him away. Laura sets about making money to buy as many raffle tickets as she can in the hope of winning him back. But will the plan to keep Lollylegs work?

Pamela Freeman is an award-winning children's author. Pamela's fantastic work ranges from picture books to young adult novels and she is best known for her Floramide series of fantasy novels. The Castings Trilogy is Pamela's highly successful fantasy series for adults published by Hachette Australia. Victor's Challenge won the 2009 Aurealis Award for Best Children's Short Fiction/Illustrated Work/Picture Book and was a Notable Book in the Younger Readers Category, Children's Book Council of Australia Awards, 2010. Rhian moved to Sydney from her native Wales in 2002 and she continues to illustrate for others and work on her own projects.
