John Yeoman is the author of many humorous stories and poems. He taught for many years at the French Lycee in London as head of English and has worked with Quentin Blake on over 20 titles. Now retired from teaching, he spends his time reading, listening to opera, growing roses and writing even more humorous stories and poems.Quentin Blake was the very first Children's Laureate. One of the world's foremost illustrators, he has won numerous awards for both for his books and his services to children's literature. He is most well-known for his wonderful work with Roald Dahl. John Yeoman and Quentin Blake first collaborated on A Drink of Water in 1960 and have been working together ever since.
