About the Author

For volume 2, he was awarded the Coup de Coeur prize at the Chambery Festival in 2001. One year later, the first volume of a long collaboration with Crisse was published: Kookaburra Universe, which tells the story of the origins of the charismatic Dragan Preko, hero of the successful science fiction series Kookaburra, whose drawing Crisse entrusted to him in 2004. In 2006, he became the collection director of this space-opera in 27 volumes, divided into three series, and in 2007, he scripted Kookaburra K, in collaboration with Humberto Ramos and co-edited by Marvel in the United States. At the same time, from 2003, he designed four new series for which he is the scriptwriter: Tessa -intergalactic agent-, Anatole and company, Aquarius, and The Way of Silence. The first of them was nominated for the 9/12 years old prize at the 2005 Angouleme International Festival and received the prize of the Maison Laffitte Festival. In 2010 he signed Seven Dragons with Delcourt, drawn by Sylvain Guinebaud and in 2012 at Glenat, the book Ultime voyage en Alchimie, prize of the Creil book festival. In 2015, he moved to Nantes to co-found the transmedia company Termites Factory. He then published comics at Vents d'Ouest and Dupuis. Gihef then turned to what really fascinates him: comic scenarios like OSS 117, L'Envers des Contes or Mister Hollywood. The origins of his universe is steeped with Nordic mythology which serves as the stage for the his series, Sirens and Vikings.Marie Bardiaux-Vaiente is a scriptwriter, a doctor of history, an activist for the universal abolition of the death penalty, and a feminist. She testifies to all of her various passions and interests through her work as a writer, as shown by Fille d'OEdipe (6 pieds sous terre), Les Reines de sang (Delcourt) or her collaboration with the Feministes collective.
