The secret of success in OCR Philosophy of Religion and Ethics is that there really is no secret, just clear analysis of the syllabus, past questions, examiner reports and mark schemes. In this detailed study Peter Baron unpicks all the clues given about the mind of the examiner - and so makes A grade success that much more certain as well as saving teachers and students hours of time: indispensable, comprehensive, detailed and above all, wise. Note: OCR syllabus H571, 572 and H581, 582 only.
Peter Baron read Politics, Philosophy and Economics at New College, Oxford and afterwards obtained an MLitt for a research degree in Hermeneutics at Newcastle University. He qualified as an Economics teacher in 1982, and from 2006-12 taught ethics at Wells Cathedral School in Somerset. In 2007 he set up a philosophy and ethics community dedicated to enlarging the teaching of philosophy in schools by applying the theory of multiple intelligences to the analysis of philosophical and ethical problems. So far over 400 schools have joined the community and over 10,000 individuals use his website every month.
