Delivery Locations

WHSmith.co.uk only delivers to UK addresses. The locations we classify as qualifying as UK addresses are:

  • England (including Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Isles of Scilly)
  • Scotland (including the Orkney and Shetland Islands)
  • Wales
  • Northern Ireland
  • BFPO addresses
  • Any WHSmith High Street store

We are unable to deliver goods to non-UK addresses. However, we will happily accept orders from overseas that are delivered to a UK address - perfect if you are looking for gifts for a friend or family member in the UK.

Multiple Delivery Addresses

When you place an order with WHSmith.co.uk you can split the products in your order across several delivery addresses which can be a combination of personal or WHSmith store addresses.

Once you arrive at the delivery address section within the checkout enter the main address that you would like your goods delivered to. Within the “Review your order” section you can then add extra addresses to the order and assign them to individual products within your order. You can store up to 8 different delivery addresses to your account.

Please note that postage will be calculated against each delivery address.

Delivery Restrictions

Orders for WHSmith Gift Vouchers, National Book Tokens or Theatre Tokens can only be delivered to a home or business address. These items will be shown separately in your basket if store delivery is selected for other items in your basket.

We are unable to deliver goods to non-UK addresses. However, we will still happily accept orders from overseas that are delivered to a UK address - perfect if you are looking for gifts for a friend or family member in the UK.

Changing Delivery Address

Once an order has been confirmed we are sorry to advise that it is not possible to change the delivery address. Should you need to change the address please cancel your order via My Orders and place a new order.

Delivery Problems

Orders sent from WHSmith.co.uk can be delivered by a number of postal carriers. High value orders which have been sent to a personal address will require a signature on delivery so please take this into account when selecting a delivery address.

Many of our carriers will make several attempts to deliver a package and should always leave a card to notify you that a delivery attempt has been made along with details of how you can contact them to rearrange delivery.

If a package is deemed to be undeliverable it will be returned to us and your account will be credited for the cost of the products. We will notify you if a package has been returned to us and should you still require the product(s) you can place a new order via the website.
