Women’s Prize for Fiction 2020
The Women’s Prize for Fiction celebrates female writers from around the world, with an all-female panel of judges considering full length fiction written by women for this prestigious prize. This year’s judges include Scarlett Curtis, Melanie Eusebe, Viv Groskop, Paula Hawkins, and Chair of the Judges; Martha Lane Fox.
From fresh and vibrant debut novels such as The Most Fun We Ever Had by Claire Lombardo and Djinn Patrol on the Purple Line by Deepa Anappara, to well-established authors such as Hilary Mantel and Maggie O’Farrell; there’s a vibrant range of authors here to get our teeth into.
The longlist chosen for this year is wonderfully diverse, with a variety of voices and stories to explore, each as thought-provoking and compelling as the next. The judges have narrowed their selection down to just six titles for the shortlist – announced on April 22nd 2020 – before the winner is announced in September 2020.
