Sisters. That special bond. Your sister is always there when you need her. And sometimes when you don't. This creative, witty book provides a warm, caring, funny and very tongue-in-cheek glimpse into the world of sisters, big or little. The "just-enough" illustrations capture the essence of little girls; their confidence and their vulnerability.
PAULA METCALF is a successful author and illustrator; she decided on her career when she was 16, and graduated with a First Class Honours degree and an MA in children's illustration. She was the first Illustrator-in-Residence at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre in Buckinghamshire and is a visiting lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, where she teaches Children's Book Illustration. This book is very close to Paula's heart; she is the middle sister, so knows all too well about being the younger as well as the older one. Newcomer SUZANNE BARTON is a recent graduate of the Cambridge School of Art. Married with two children, she's been developing this as-yet unseen style that proves less really is more.
