In this new title in the Lion Access Guides series, Kevin O'Donnell presents a lively overview of the major philosophers and movements through the ages, showing how they have influenced society and history. Beginning with the Greeks, the book takes us through eastern philosophy, the birth of Christianity, the medieval period, the enlightenment, the modern age and the postmodern condition.
