Alex Osmond has worked as an Academic Skills Adviser, helping to launch Brunel University's ever-expanding ASK service, and is now VLE Project Manager at the university. As part of these roles he has provided guidance to students both online and face-to-face, and students consistently praise the advice he has given, which has often translated directly into higher grades. Alex has also taught a wide variety of skills sessions across Brunel's degree programmes, working to develop online resources aimed at improving academic writing, and also co-managed the Study Skills Collection at Brunel University Library. Before working at Brunel, Alex worked at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, also as an Academic Skills Adviser.
