This biography follows Admiral Marc Mitscher from his early days at the Naval Academy and through his days in two world wars. Following the war he served as Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (Air) and finally as Commander, Atlantic Fleet. He was the first aviator to become an admiral and fill combat commands.
