A dying man wanders through the holographic cities of Japan at the end of the 21st Century, a photographer attempts to capture the spirit of a secluded village, only to find the spirit capturing him, an artist reminisces on the unexpected, formative role played in his life by a fifties teen idol. In these and other tales, Crisp pits the sensual richness of the moment against the inner torment of his characters, creating a world as intimately real as it is supernaturally strange.
Quentin S. Crisp was born in 1972 in North Devon, England. He is the author of a number of volumes of short and long fiction, including Morbid Tales (Tartarus Press, 2004), Rule Dementia! (Rainfall Books, 2005), and "Remember You're a One-Ball!" (Chomu Press, 2010).
