In the pantheon of 20th century furniture designers, the names of Swiss architects Trix and Robert Haussmann are rightly invoked along with greats like Ray and Charles Eames and George Nelson. A retrospective tribute to the Hausmanns long career that began in the 1950s, this inspiring book features their works from 1977 to 2007 for Zurich Rothlisberger Kollektion, a rare studio specializing in hand craftsmanship. Vintage and contemporary photographs, reproductions from catalogs and advertisements, interior installations complete with lighting, models and drawings show the close collaboration between the designers and the Rothlisberger artisans. Includes recollections by Peter Rothlisberger and interview with Trix and Robert Haussman
