About Author

Suzanne Struglinski edited the 2009 Insider's Guide to Key Committee Staff of the U.S. Congress and the 2007 Almanac of the Unelected. She previously worked as the Washington Bureau Chief for the Desert News, where she covered Congress, politics, the federal agencies, Western land issues, energy and other topics until the paper closed its D.C. bureau in 2008. Suzanne started her Washington journalism career working for E&E Publishing's Greenwire and Environment and Energy Daily and worked as a correspondent for the Las Vegas Sun. Suzanne is now a press secretary for legislative affairs at the Natural Resources Defense Council and a freelance writer and editor. A Chicago native, she is a graduate of the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Lisa Friedman is the Deputy Editor of ClimateWire, helping to lead a team of 10 reporters covering the business and politics of climate change. Before joining ClimateWire in 2008, Lisa spent 14 years in daily journalism in California, Nevada, and Washington DC. She is the recipient of a number of journalism honors including the 2009 American Association for the Advancement of Science Kavli Science Journalism Award and the 2010 Edwin M. Hood Diplomatic Correspondence Award. A New Jersey native, she is a graduate of Columbia University.
