He is an experienced teacher of over 30 years' standing and was Chief Examiner for a major exam board.Martin Holborn is co-author of the best-selling textbook Sociology Themes and Perspectives, which has sold well over half a million copies worldwide and is one of the most successful British textbooks ever on any subject. He is also writer/editor of numerous other publications including an important new undergraduate book, Contemporary Sociology. Martin now works as an Associate Lecturer of the The Open University.
