Description
Blade 1-3
Trilogy of sci-fi action horrors starring Wesley Snipes as the Marvel Comics vampire hunter. In 'Blade' (1998) half-human/half-vampire Blade, who is possessed with the same powers as his bloodsucking brethren but without the weaknesses that can destroy them, sets out to foil a plan for a legion of the undead to wipe out mankind, masterminded by vampire overlord Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff). In 'Blade II' (2002) Blade enters into an alliance with vampire chief Damaskinos (Thomas Kretschmann) in order to eradicate a new strain of vampire which preys on both the living and the undead. Leading an elite vampire combat team known as the Blood Pack, Blade visits the Prague nightclub where the new vampires have made their base and prepares to attack. But this new strain is stronger and more deadly than anything the vampire hunter has ever come up against. Finally, in 'Blade: Trinity' (2004) Blade faces a new challenge when a group of vampires resurrect Drake (Dominic Purcell), aka the ancient and all-powerful Count Dracula. Teaming up with a group of vampire hunters called the Nightstalkers, led by Abigail (Jessica Biel) and her partner Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds), Blade battles to stop Dracula before he can cure vampires of their weaknesses.More Details
