About Author

Ricky Greenwald, PsyD, is the founder and director of the Trauma Institute and Child Trauma Institute, affiliate professor at SUNY University at Buffalo School of Social Work, and was previously on faculty at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Greenwald is the author of numerous professional articles as well as several books. His trauma training methods have been widely emulated internationally, and his work has been translated into over a dozen languages. Dr. Greenwald has received awards for both his research and his service, and is a fellow of the American Psychological Association.
