About Author

Joseph McGeough, Regius Professor of Engineering at The University of Edinburgh, UK, Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for CAPE 2003. Obtained his BSc and PhD at Glasgow University, and his DSc at Aberdeen University. He is well published with both book titles and many journal papers.
