Xiaodong Dai is Associate Professor at the Foreign Languages College of Shanghai Normal University, China. He currently serves as the vice president of the China Association for Intercultural Communication (CAFIC). Guo-Ming Chen is Professor of Communication Studies at the University of Rhode Island, USA. He is the founding president of the Association for Chinese Communication Studies (ACCS). He served as the executive director of the International Association for Intercultural Communication Studies (IAICS) for six years and is currently the president of the association.
