Description

This is a provocative, insightful new collection of well-documented essays focusing on the poetic dimension of Eliseo Subiela's films. This book provides a new model for film scholarship for Spanish and Latin American cinematography. This book is a companion and complement to the previously published The Cinematic Art of Eliseo Subiela, Argentine Filmmaker I edited in 2007. It contains essays and interviews by returning authors, sometimes with multiple contributions, as well as new authors. Why another book of critical essays? Well, there was still so much to say especially as Subiela has continued to attempt to produce a film a year in this new century.
