Epigenetics deals with the subject of chromatin dynamics, gene expression and regulation in eukaryotic organism, and the flow of heritable changes in gene expression which is independent of genomic sequences. During last two decades, there have been many milestone discoveries related to epigenetics that led to significant advancement in understanding the mechanism of eukaryotic gene regulation, cell signaling pathways, and on the molecular basis of various human diseases.
