About Author

John Howie, a professor emeritus of philosophy at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is the author of Perspectives for Moral Decisions, the editor of Ethical Principles for Social Policy and Ethical Principles and Practice, and the coeditor of Contemporary Society and The Wisdom of William Ernest Hocking.
