Cecilia Knapp is a writer, poet, performer and educator. She's performed her work all over the UK and internationally and at festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe, Bestival and Camp Bestival and the Cheltenham Literature festival, where she was guest curator in 2016. She's had a residency at the Roundhouse, had her work played on BBC radio 1, 1Xtra and radio 4 as well as being commissioned by the TATE and BBCiplayer. Cecilia writes about real life, every day human interaction, experience and relationships. She tackles loss, love, bereavement and mental illness in her work, believing in the power of sharing stories and how they can heal and unite us. She is an ambassador for the mental health charity C.A.L.M.
