About Author

Mack teaches art history at the University of South Carolina, where he is both a Louise Fry Scudder Professor of Liberal Arts and the William Joseph Todd Professor of the Italian Renaissance.Lesesne received his doctorate in history from the University of South Carolina in 1998. He is associate director and historian of the University of SOuth Carolina Bicentennial Celebration and research assistant professor of Southern Studies at USC.
