Her books include Polish Women, Solidarity and Feminism (1992) The Social Inheritance of the Holocaust (2002); Communism, Capitalism and the Mass Media (2008) with Colin Sparks and is co-editor of The Media in Britain (1999) Save As....Digital Memories (2009) and Cultural Memories of Nonviolent Struggle (2015). She is a playwright with seven plays performed internationally.
