From choosing healthy foods to taking care of one's teeth, and from exploring the ways infection is spread to studying nerves, the health science field is a broad category of study. Health Science Experiments presents engaging activities about health science issues to encourage students to make lifelong, healthy choices and to introduce them to various disciplines within the health field. Whether these experiments create awareness of health issues, or spawn future nutritionists or doctors, students will enjoy this array of health-related, easy-to-follow experiments.
Aviva Ebner holds a B.S. in Biology from UCLA and an M.A. in Educational Administration. She is currently principal of El Rodeo School in Beverly Hills Unified School District. Her previous experience includes teaching science for Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD); administration in LAUSD, Glendale Unified School District, and Emek Hebrew Academy; and writing science curricula for various schools. Ebner has also presented numerous workshops on instruction at regional educators' conferences and is an adjunct faculty member of University of Phoenix.
