Frederick Ahl is Professor of Classics and Comparative Literature and Stephen H. Weiss Presidential Fellow at Cornell University. He has published many books on classical literature including a new translation of the Aeneid (2008), Two Faces of Oedipus: Sophocles' Oedipus Tyrannus and Seneca's Oedipus (2008), and The Odyssey Re-Formed (with Hanna M. Roisman, 1996).
