Traveling extensively in Cuba between 2007 and 2009, photographer Helena de Bragan�a (born 1978) sought to capture the nation's undocumented lives, from prostitutes and transvestites to punk rockers and swingers. De Bragan�a's lens temporarily transforms the alleyways, bedrooms and rooftops before her camera into both safe havens and stages.
