He has taught Art and Art History in both the public and private sectors.Through his first-hand research Lawrence has produced this thought provoking and evocative account of British art of the Great War, by both male and female artists and poets, many of whom have been written out of the cultural history of our country, making this book the perfect memento of the centenary of the Great War.
