Increasing public concern over chemical exposures and the quality of the food supply has resulted in increased pressure on regulatory agencies to do more sampling for more chemicals. This new volume explores the use of immunoassays as alternative methods for conducting this needed sampling. It brings together a broad range of the applications of analytical immunochemistry, including immunoassays for chemical residues in food and the environment, for natural toxins, and for monitoring human exposure to toxic chemicals.
