She studied at Vassar College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. South is Curator of Collections, Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro, N.C. He was educated at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles; University of Utah, Salt Lake City; and Art Students League and the Graduate Center, City University of New York.
