In or Out? The Prime Minister calls it perhaps the most important decision of our time. Most people are worried about what could go wrong. Some people couldn't care less. But this summer, the debate on Europe is the centre of national conversation: From Brussels' red tape to tax dodging corporations, from batty nationalists to Machiavellian Europhiles, from Dave and Boris to Mrs Merkel and Her Majesty, from triumph to farce - and back. Kipper Williams finds all the ingredients for comedy in the great Euro debate.
Kipper Williams has drawn cartoons for many publications, including the Spectator, the Guardian, Private Eye, the Sunday Times and E&T Magazine. His book 'In or Out ?- Europe in Cartoons' was published by Amberley ahead of the EU Referendum in 2016. He has also provided drawings for a number of other books, including Bill Bryson's 'A Short History of Nearly Everything' (illustrated edition) and Dr Tanya Byron's 'Your Child, Your Way'. In 2010 at the 'Chopin's Smile' exhibition in Warsaw he won the Duval Foundation Award, and in 2013 the Cartoon Art Trust presented him with the Joke Cartoonist Award . He was Official Cartoonist at the Port Eliot Festival in 2014, and he is Festival Cartoonist at the 2016 Cornwall Folk Festival. His cartoons are shown regularly at the Chris Beetles Gallery in London and at the London Cartoon Museum. Collectors of his work include Jeremy Paxman and Tina Turner.
