Each May a new volume in the Junior Science Experiments On File[trademark] series will be published, featuring 75-80 new experiments. Designed for use as an instructional tool to enliven classroom lessons, as a supplement to textbooks, or as an independent resource for students who want to explore the amazing world of science on their own, each volume contains activities that use only inexpensive, easy-to-find materials. Every experiment has helpful illustrations and clear, step-by-step instructions and correlates with the National Science Standards. Divided into four sections - General Science (Basic Skills), Physical Science, Life Science, and Earth Science - each volume serves as a complete hands-on resource for young students. Junior Science Experiments On File[trademark], Volume 2 encourages young students of all abilities to learn about science through hands-on experimentation. The approximately 75-80 activities were designed according to current curriculum standards. The engaging and educational experiments are both teacher- and student-friendly and cover a wide range of topics in the life, Earth, and physical sciences.
