This book examines the theory and practice of justice in and of the city through a multi-disciplinary collaboration, which draws on a wide range of expertise. It will be a valuable resource for academic researchers and students across a range of disciplines including urban and environmental studies, geography, planning, education, ethics and politics.
Simin Davoudi is Professor of Environmental Policy and Planning and Associate Director of the Institute for Sustainability at Newcastle University. Her research interests lie at the interface of society and ecology and focuses on questions of spatiality, governance, politics and justice on which she had published widely. Derek Bell is Professor in Environmental Political Theory at Newcastle University. His main research interests lie at the intersection of environmental politics and analytical political philosophy. He has published widely on environmental justice and citizenship, and local and global climate justice.
