About Author

Stafford Hildred is a former sports reporter who has become one of Britain's bestknown TV critics and authors. He is a lifelong fan of Grimsby Town FC yet, remarkably, he still appreciates football at the highest level. Tim Ewbank first began reporting football for The Kentish Observer in Canterbury. As a football fan, Tim's most treasured moment was being at the Nou Camp in Barcelona, witnessing Manchester United's lastgasp 2-1 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League final. Together Stafford and Tim have collaborated on the international bestseller There's Only One David Beckham, as well as biographies of David Jason, Rod Stewart and John Thaw.
