Description

The Shala Valley Project uncovered how the Shala shaped their world through dynamic, world-systemic relationships with the powers that never fully conquered them. They can be seen as an example in our modern age, where tribal peoples still fight for their survival, and to preserve some degree of independence from capitalist economies.
