Andrew Smith moved to Norway from Liverpool, England, in 1984. Since completing studies in Music and English at the University of Oslo he has worked for the Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival and as organist and choirmaster at the English church in Oslo. He has written a number of works, mostly for organ, choir, or small chamber ensemble. Current projects include a set of pieces for the Girl Choristers of Washington National Cathedral.
