In 1938, mathematician Alan Turing was recruited into the Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park where he worked with a team of like-minded people in an attempt to crack the mysterious code through which the German Army were transmitting their communications. The code, known as Enigma, was considered unsolvable until, that is, Alan Turing arrived.
